What fantastic news – we have won Gold this year in the ‘Pub of the Year’ category in the Visit Devon Tourism Awards!
This is the best news we could wish for – just as things are starting to look more positive and reopening won’t be too far off – we’ve been named Visit Devon Pub of the Year!
Last year we were awarded Bronze in this prestigious scheme and to have been seen to improve during the challenging year we have all had and now be awarded Gold is a fantastic achievement for all of our amazing team.
Winning awards is hard enough but winning again recognises a commitment to quality and service that the Three Crowns team, led by owners Steve and John with managers Kayleigh and Darren are immensely proud of.
Things were certainly different this year and, as well as the awards being delayed by various Covid restrictions, the judging had to be undertaken differently and there were no mystery visits.
Our entry form – along with our online presence, social media activity, reputation management and our hard work to be a Covid-secure business – have all formed part of the overall results.
